Keď k výzoru mesta prirátam pestrú kultúru, históriu a kuchyňu, tak výlet stojí za to. V lete je tam pre mňa až príliš horúco, preto som sa s rodinou rozhodol ísť do Izraela začiatkom decembra. Cez deň bolo príjemných 25 stupňov, v noci menej. Samozrejme, história bola aj pre nás na prvom mieste, no zeleň ostala v mojom záujme.
Besides city appearance, when it comes to distinctive culture, history and cuisine, the trip is worth it. In the summer it's too hot for me there, so I decided to go to Israel with my family in early December. It was pleasant 25 degrees at day, at night less. Of course, history was the most important for us, but greenery also remained in my interest.
Záhrady HaPisga HaPisga gardens
Súčasťou Tel Avivu je staré prístavné mesto Jaffa. Stojí na kopci nad morom a je to top miesto na perfektný výhľad na celý Tel Aviv. Záhrada je moderné otvorené priestranstvo s malým amfiteátrom, rôznymi palmami a sukulentmi, pomníkmi a špeciálnym mostom.
Old port city of Jaffa is a part of Tel Aviv. It stands on a hill overlooking the sea and is the top spot for a perfect view of Tel Aviv. The garden is a modern open area with a small amphitheater, various palm trees and succulents, memorials and a special bridge.

Cez vstup do záhrady som sa priamo dostal k amfiteátru. Ideálne miesto si oddýchnuť, posedieť a kochať sa pohľadom na mesto a záliv.
I walked directly to the amphitheater from the entrance. Ideal place to relax, sit and enjoy the view of the city and the bay.
Dominuje xerofytná (suchomilná) flóra. Vpredu vidno juky s úzkymi špicatými listami. Záhrada je dynamická s meniacim sa terénom.
There is a xerophilous (drought-tolerating) flora. On the front you can see yuccas with narrow pointed leaves. The garden is dynamic with changing terrain.
Na samotnom vrchole záhrady stojí totem. Pri chodníku vpravo rastú modrolisté agávy (Agave americana), za nimi aloe s vyschnutými odkvitnutými stonkami a palmy s výstižným menom palmovky (Washingtonia).
At the top of the garden stands the totem. On the right side of the path grow blue-leaved agaves (Agave americana), followed by aloe with dried flowering stalks and palm trees called Washingtonia.
Od totemu zchádza chodník k Mostu prianí. V pozadí množstvo paliem a kostol svätého Petra.
A walkway from the totem leads to the Wishing Bridge. In the background there is plenty of palm trees and St. Peter's Church.
Most prianí (The Wishing Bridge) je magickým miestom. Na tabuli sa píše legenda: ktokoľvek pri prechode mostom, nech sa dotkne svojho symbolu zverokruhu a pozrie sa na more, splní sa mu želanie.
The Wishing Bridge is a magical place. The legend written on the table says: anyone boarding the bridge, holds its zodiac sign and looks of the sea - their wish will come true.
Tak som neváhal a dotkol som sa znamenia Blížencov a pozrel sa do diaľok mora. Snáď to vyšlo :)

Na konci mosta je malé námestíčko s mozaikou zobrazujúcou znamenia zverokruhu. Trčiace palmovky a datľovníky tvoria originálne pozadie.
At the end of the bridge is a small square with a mosaic depicting the zodiac signs. Standing out washingtonias and date palms form an original background.
Park nezávislosti The Independence Park
Severnejšie, pri hoteli Hilton, sa takisto na kopci, týči záhrada oslavujúca nezávislosť Izraela. Bola vybudovaná na útese stojacom tesne nad morom a už len kvôli tomu je to úžasné miesto s výhľadmi a upokojujúcou atmosférou. Jeho menšiu časť tvorí samostatný Spiegel Park.
To the north, at the Hilton hotel, also on a hill, is a garden celebrating Israel's independence. It was built on a cliff standing just above the seashore, and that's why it's a wonderful place with views and a soothing atmosphere. A separate Spiegel Park forms its smaller part.

Zo Spiegel parku treba ísť najprv dolu kopcom okolo hotela a potom znova hore kopcom. Taká serpentína.
From the Spiegel Park, go first downhill around the hotel and then uphill again. Such a serpentine.
Hneď za plotom hotela stojí pamätný kameň. Park bol založený v roku 1952. Zem pokrýva Carpobrotus edulis, vzadu sú skupinky agáv a okrasných tráv.
A memorial stone is standing just behind the hotel fence. The park was founded in 1952. The ground is covered with Carpobrotus edulis, at the back there are groups of agave and ornamental grasses.
Moderná výsadba. Masový pokryv z Carpobrotus-u ako náhrada trávnika, okrasné trávy, moderné sochy a agáva práve sa chystajúca kvitnúť.
